Hey I know I haven’t posted here in ages (other than reposting my Letterboxd reviews and reblogging other posts), but I have a question. I’m trying to make a list of all the films used in Star Spangled to Death, so can anybody identify where the clip with the kid and the balloons is taken from here? The cinematography kinda looks French to me. Like, 50s or 60s specifically. But it isn’t The Red Balloon.
Hello everyone! things have been a bit rough with a job lead falling through and a struggle to get any further offers. i at least have to start making payments by the end of this month if i want to stay where i am to the tune of $500 a month and need some sorta help reaching that before its too late. finding work is much harder than expected and i dont want to lose my chance to be away from the abuse and neglect i was trying to escape in the first place. fwiw i also need help with buying food and hygeine products (soap, toothpaste, etc) while i try and get back on EBT. every bit counts and i just want to be okay. thank you for understanding

"Men don't belong in the women's room" is in fact a subordinate social imperative to "children should be kept an eye on so they don't get hurt" and especially when you're talking about a toddler, most men's rooms don't have changing stations or suchlike. Morons
It should really not go without comment that afaik this is a black man taking care of his daughter, racism is a factor in people making a big stink about this and I'm not really gonna let the ~daughters of the witches you couldn't burn~ forget that their actual grandmothers probably got pissy about integrated washrooms
